We support our local school system and enthusiastically assist in fund-raising by being a part of their scrip programs.

Currently we are involved in scrip programs with the elementary schools in Manhattan Beach Unified School District and American Martyrs. Our scrip program provides a 10% contribution to the school's fund-raising program. This is at no cost to the school or our customer.

How Scrip Works
We produce a paper scrip in $5 denominations which we sell to school scrip programs for 90% of the face value ($4.50 for $5 of scrip). The school sells the scrip to its students' parents for the face value and deposits the difference in their PTA account. The parent uses the scrip at the creamery just like they would a gift certificate; getting goods to the value of the scrip.
